EMPERIAL CABS ("we", "our", or "us") operates the EMPERIAL CABS mobile booking application and website. We are dedicated to respecting and protecting the privacy of our passengers and drivers. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, use, process, and safeguard your personal information in compliance with Google Play Developer Policies and data protection standards.
1. Information We Collect
To provide reliable taxi dispatch and outstation ride services, we collect:
- Account & Profile Details: Your name, phone number, email address, and profile photo provided during account creation or profile setup.
- Device Location Data: Precise foreground device location coordinates collected while the app is active to identify pickup spots, suggest pickup points, route cabs accurately, and estimate ride fares. We do not track location in the background when the app is closed.
- Trip & Booking Records: Pickup address, destination address, scheduled departure times, vehicle category, fare amount, and trip status history.
- Device & Network Information: Operating system version and network connection state to maintain connectivity and deliver push alerts.
2. How We Use Your Information
We process collected data exclusively to:
- Assign verified local drivers to your pickup location.
- Display real-time driver ETA and trip navigation.
- Send essential transactional ride updates, driver arrival notifications, and booking confirmations.
- Provide 24/7 customer assistance, lost-and-found support, and dispute resolution.
3. Data Protection & Sharing
All communication between the mobile application and our servers is secured using SSL/TLS encryption. We do not sell, rent, monetize, or trade your personal information with third-party advertising companies. Ride details are shared solely with assigned drivers to complete your requested journey.
4. Account & Personal Data Deletion
In accordance with Google Play's User Data and Account Deletion Policy, users have full control to delete their account and associated data at any time:
- In-App Deletion: Open the EMPERIAL CABS app > Navigate to Account tab > Tap "Delete Account & Personal Data" > Confirm deletion. This immediately deletes stored user profile tokens and session records.
- Web / Remote Request: You can submit an account and data erasure request by emailing us at emperialcabsbhavnagar@gmail.com or calling +91 72268 44108 with your registered mobile number. Requests are processed within 30 days.
